Patrick Henry’s Red Hill: 5th Annual Quarter Place Tribute

Join us Saturday, September 26th from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM for our 5th Annual Quarter Place Tribute. Join Patrick Henry’s Red Hill and members of the descendant community to honor the lives and legacies of the enslaved population at Red Hill and their descendants. Doors open at 10:00 am with an opportunity to speak with partner museums and organizations tabling on the grounds. Presentations begin at 11:00 am and include an opening ceremony at Quarter Place Cemetery, where 147 enslaved and free African Americans are buried. Hear research updates and genealogy discoveries from our research staff. We are excited to welcome vendors, fellow museums, and other organizations to this event!
