Juneteenth Celebration

Join us as we come together as a community to honor the significance of June 19th–the day in 1964 when the last enslaved people in America learned of their freedom. Celebrate with us as we reflect on our history, uplift our community, and inspire the change we want to see in Central Virginia. This event is FREE and open to the community and surrounding counties. There will be live entertainment, Kuumba Dance Ensemble, 360 photo booth, Juneteenth Bingo, arts and crafts, 50/50 raffle, various vendors, and Walker’s Fish Chicken and More.
