Jamerson Library’s Evening Film Noir

September 17th, Thursday – Jamerson Library’s Evening Film Noir starting at 5:00 pm in the Library’s community room. A viewing and discussion of the classic film “Quicksand!” (1950) starring Peter Lorre and Mickey Rooney. Dan (Micky Rooney) commits a minor theft in an effort to impress a femme fatale, which leads to a spiral of violence and betrayal. Peter Lorre stars as a blackmailing arcade owner with ties to the woman of Dan’s dreams.
