Gold Fever Kayak Adventure

Have you ever wanted to pan for gold? Well, this is your chance! Holliday Lake State Park invites you to come out and experience this fun recreational activity, including a kayak trip to one of the scenic creeks in the park. Join us to learn a little about the history of gold in these parts. We’ll provide panning equipment, paddling equipment, and teach you everything you need to know for our Gold Fever Kayak Adventure. This program is suitable for ages 10 and up. The $10 per person program fee must be paid during registration. Stop in at the Park Office or call (434) 248-6308 to register and pay.

Please bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection, and bug spray; wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and/or wet; and arrive 15 minutes early. This event is subject to last-minute cancellation due to severe weather.
