“COLOR FALL” adult paint class

This is a great, enjoyable tutorial with acrylics!
It begins with a thickening medium applied to create a layer of texture. Students can choose an oak or maple leaf shape, and the colors they like to apply the paint thickly for the leaf, which then is blended with clear wrap and allowed to dry. After a background color is applied, the students can then add the veins of the leaf, continually working with layers of color, highlights & low lights, to emphasize a more realistic look.
