The fun begins at 4:00 PM with activities like historic building tours, games, and shopping, followed by tours of Quarter Place at 4:30, 5:30, and 7:30 PM. At 8:00 PM, Patrick Henry’s fifth great-grandson, Patrick Henry Jolly, will deliver a stirring performance of “Give me liberty or give me death!” and read the Declaration of Independence. The gates close at 9:00 PM, and a spectacular fireworks display starts at 9:15 PM, wrapping up the evening by 9:30 PM.
